Samantha Clothier - Principal & Founder of Magicworld
Samantha graduated from Winchester University with a BA Honours in Primary Education and currently teaches at Orchard Junior School. Samantha’s love for performing started from a young age when she played Blousey in Bugsy Malone. Her performing career continued when she joined the En Masse pop choir, where she sung and danced on stages across the south.
Samantha began running dance workshops in and around Hampshire during school holidays. These became increasingly popular and as a result ‘Magicworld Dance’ was created. After 2 successful years of running these workshops, Samantha opened the Magicworld Theatre School, in 2008. She has created an enjoyable and safe environment for children to grow as individuals and as performers.
“I have been an avid follower and supporter of Magicworld since its conception. I am always amazed how the children develop and how very well they all get on together with various abilities. After all the sessions the children come out bubbling, ensuring us all that they have had a great time. The end of term shows are exceptional, being well organised and fantastically professional, the standards of the children’s performance must be congratulated. I have watched the children aspire from strength to strength to a very impressive standard.”
